Sharon & Chris :: USD Immaculata & Prado :: San Diego, Ca

Sharon and Chris were the couple you just love to work with.  Their beautiful disposition on life and the love they shared for each other was heartwarming.  Their day started off at the presidential suite at the US Grant hotel.  We walked in and found Sharon laughing with her bridesmaids.  We began photographing all the gorgeous details of her wedding day.  Beautiful stationary, timeless jewelry, and a stunning dress, all laid out before us to capture on this perfect day.  Sharon looked exquisite in her wedding gown and now we were off to the Immaculata at USD for the wedding ceremony.

The Immaculata is a massive and beautiful Catholic church.  Arches line the sides of this enormous cathedral and beautiful splashes of colorful light shine down on the alter from stained glass windows high above.  The ceremony was perfect and the love these two shared for each other was more evident than ever before.

After we wrapped up some family photos we packed up and headed over to the Prado at Balboa Park for the reception.  But before the party officially started, we snuck Sharon and Chris out for a beautiful sunset portrait session.  The lighting was perfect!  Warm rays of sun fired in vertically through the park illuminating Sharon and Chris with the most soft and graceful light.  They were so organic and natural and I rarely gave them any direction and just let them be themselves. 

The remainder of the evening was just an echo of the entire day. Sharon and Chris’s guest laughed, danced, and celebrated into the night.  The dance floor never saw a dull moment that entire evening. 

Sharon and Chris, thank you two for letting us be part of your story!  You were a true pleasure to work with and I wish you an entire lifetime of love and happiness.
