Roxana and Marc were my last wedding for 2015 and I couldn’t have had a better couple to end the year with! They were the dream couple that you want to work with every single weekend of the year… just two amazing people that love each other immensely.
The day began at The Marriott Hotel on Coronado Island where Roxana was finishing the final touches of hair and make up. We had made sure to set aside ample time for bridal portraits before the ceremony and I was thrilled with the results! We used The Marriott to our advantage and I was able to capture some truly special moments.
The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful venue, Brick. This is a historic venue located in Point Loma’s Liberty Station. When I entered this building I was in complete awe of how the entire space had been transformed into a stunningly beautiful fairy tale. Floral arrangements hung over wooden tables covered with ornate glasses and flatware. Delicate gold monograming wrote out beautiful love messages behind the cake table and other areas of the room. It was a spectacular sight! Amorology Weddings did an amazing job for turning the couple’s incredible vision into reality.
After the bride and groom exchanged vows, we went on an adventure to find the loveliest backdrops for their portraits The timing was absolutely perfect as I captured candid shots of Roxana and Marc back lit by the warm glowing sun. They laughed, smiled and kissed until the sun set down on the Pacific ocean.
Another special moment of this incredible day was watching Marc’s band play during the reception. They rocked the house and Marc even had a couple songs he had written for Roxana.
This was exactly how I wanted to end my wedding year… on such a high note! It was a beautiful wedding and wonderful that this amazing couple was able to share the momentous day with family and friends.
