Lauren & Nolan :: Mt. Woodson Amy Strong Castle Wedding

The historic Amy Strong Castle is a jewel.  It’s nestled at the base of Mt Woodson and sits on the outer rim of the Ramona valley surrounded by old twisted oak tress and massive granite bouldersOnce a private residence, this historic castle was build in 1921 by famous San Diego dress designer, Amy Strong.  

With that being said, It’s no wonder why Lauren and Nolan chose this beautiful venue for their wedding.  Both outdoorsy people, Lauren and Nolan both loved the natural feel and look of the historic property.  “ There is so much opportunity for amazing photos here,” said Nolan as we scouted out some areas around the castle for sunset portraits.

Their wedding day went along perfectly as it should!  We enjoyed amazing weather and then were spoiled by a picture perfect sunset.  Guest even drank some of Nolan’s home brew that he specially prepared for his wedding day.  It was a true privilege being of part of this beautiful day and I wish Lauren & Nolan many years of joy and happiness!
