Diane & Arty :: Twin Oaks Garden Estate :: San Diego Country

Uncategorized

Diane and Arty and just two amazing people who love each other so much.  I still remember when I first Skyped with them and talked about their special day over a year ago.  They were easy going and only had one request, they had to have their engagement portrait session photographed up in the Carmel by the Sea, Monterey and Big Sur area of Northern California.  Luckily for all of us I had another wedding I was photographing in the Bay area and was able to fly up early and photograph that awesome engagement session for them.  It was epic!

Time passed as it does and soon I found my self looking at my calendar with only weeks left before Diane and Arty’s beautiful wedding day at the historic Twin Oaks Garden Estate.  This beautiful garden estate is a favorite in the Southern California wedding world and is lush with greenery such as garden roses, ivy, lavender and many more types of beautiful flowers and plant life. It’s tucked back in the foothills of the northern part of San Diego County, and is home to a historic turn of the 1900th century school house completely furnished and adorn with Victorian antiques.  Eucalyptus trees line the western part of the property with beautiful mountain vistas to the east.  A perfect backdrop to any wedding occasion.

As Diane walked onto the grounds she was glowing with excitement.  Her wedding makeup and hair was done and she looked absolutely perfect.  It was going to be a great day and I was so excited for them.

The ceremony was beautiful as Pastor Mike sealed the bond of marriage with over 130 of Diane and Arty’s friends and family in attendance.  Arty even busted out a sweet dip right after the kiss.  Great form buddy!!

Slowly the warm sun rested down over the horizon and as the night air cooled down the party heated up.  With D.J. Earl on the 1’s and 2’s, this dance floor was on fire!  It was a great time and the guest were truly enjoying themselves.  Every wedding I photograph I normally hear the same thing at the end of the night, “it went by so fast.”  It always does when you’re having fun!

Diane and Arty, it was a pleasure working with both of you!  You two deserve each other and I know your going to have a beautiful life together.  When I’m up in the Monterey area again I’m going to call you up so that we can visit that amazing Italian restaurant again!  Congratulations you two!
